If your mobile device (phone or tablet) is currently running Android 5, you will need to upgrade to Android 6 to continue using the most up to date version of Zoom. We strongly recommend upgrading your OS to a supported version so that you can continue to receive these releases. This means that these systems will no longer receive security or feature updates for Zoom. Starting in March, Zoom will end support for two discontinued OS versions. Discontinuation of Support for Old OS Versions As you get ready to return to campus for the second half of the term, it is a great time to make sure that your Zoom client is up to date so that you have the most recent features and security patches available. You will want to be sure to take the time to check this even if you primarily utilize Zoom from the web- as Zoom accesses the on-device client in order to operate your camera, mic, and meeting controls, making it important to have the most recent version to ensure access to the most recent features and security settings. We are into March and enjoying our Spring Break.
